It’s beautiful to see how your friends grow and mature in life. Nan and I have known each other throughout our lives growing up and sharing mutual friends. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to meet up with Nan and photograph her in such an important, precious time in her life. If I had three words that would describe Nan it would be: strong, peaceful, and loving. Nan and her hubby, Scotty live in Amelia Island and run the one of the best organic restaurants I’ve been to called 29 South. They have a daughter named, Audrielle and are expecting their second baby girl, named Tavi. Love the names! Before our shoot, Zak and I were treated to an amazing lunch with a wonderful glass of Petite Syrah. Thanks Nan for being you and for filling our bellies with amazing food! xo

Brittany’s Mommy Glam! Session and Baby Saylor’s Newborn Photos!

Happy Friday to all! I am so excited about this post because it’s about my lovely friend Brittany. When I found out she was pregnant I thought to myself, “She is going to be cutest, most fashionable pregnant woman out there.” and it’s safe to say that was the truth! I basically told her that she was doing a Mommy Glam! Session with me, which is what I call my maternity portraits. Brittany is the perfect example of Mommy Glam! for sure! Brittany and her husband Sam welcomed their baby girl, Saylor Amelia Sobering to the world on July 16th. A couple weeks later, I showed up at their house to photograph Saylor’s newborn portraits. All I can say is she’s beautiful and perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to document something so delicate and precious. Here are images from both portrait sessions. My Niece Alyssa turns 1 today!!! A look back on the year….

Happy Wednesday to all! Today is a very special day because my dearest Niece Alyssa is turning 1 today! Yes, I know we all can’t remember our 1st birthday, and for those of you who can, that’s kind of weird. Anyway, this is such a milestone for Baby Alyssa and for her Mommy and Daddy, (my Brother, Tony and his wife Gina.) I can remember a year ago today rushing over from Orlando to Sarasota to the hospital to be there as Tony walked out with the biggest grin on his face. It was such a memorable, amazing moment and I was so happy we were all there to witness it. Through the year, we’ve gotten to see Alyssa grow and develop an adorable, loving personality. Her cheeks are the cutest and I love to pinch them! Wow, now I do sound like the annoying Aunt who always wants to pinch cheeks. Oh well! I am so excited to watch her grow into a beautiful little girl. I can’t wait to go shopping and play with her.
