While most of you were putting the finishing touches on your Halloween costumes and handing out candy, I had the pleasure of spending my day documenting Kelley and Todd’s wedding! Shem (my fabulous second photographer) and I met up at The Tradewinds Resort in St. Pete beach and prepared to begin our day of capturing all the memories that were to come. We began photographing Kelley and the girls in their room. Kelley’s excitement grew as she put her gown on and got ready to meet Todd for their “first look”. No detail was left out when getting ready. From the tearful moment of her Mother placing Kelley’s necklace on, to her Maid of Honor, Danielle, perfectly arranging her Six Pence in her shoe just as she was about to walk out. Emotions were high as we walked over to the lobby to capture Kelley and Todd seeing each other for the first time. This is always my favorite moment when a bride and groom see each other for the first time. I always feel so privileged to have a front row seat.
Shem and I loved all the details at the ceremony and were in place for the start of the ceremony. Despite the crazy heat-wave, guests watch and enjoyed as Kelley and Todd said their vows. After that, the party was on! Starting with their sensational choreographed first dance and then onto the heartfelt speeches. Everyone had an amazing time. As the night cooled off, the party kept going. A big congratulations to the newlyweds! I hope you are enjoying Barbados and many blessings for the years to come!
