Ok so there’s only one image of a “rainy day” portrait, but luckily, the skies opened up in the nick of time for me to capture Flavia and Elliot’s engagement portrait. I still felt the need to call it this because the e-session was called off, then on, then off, and then finally back on again. All I have to say is you have got to love Florida weather! This portrait session was unique because it was also the first time I had their videographer accompany me to produce an “engagement movie”. The amazingly talented Rainer from Simply Cinematic joined us as we hung out downtown Orlando praying for the weather to make up it’s mind.
Luckily, the skies cleared and we actually saw sunlight for about 5 minutes. I have to say that I’m almost happy that the weather was a factor, because it made me think more outside of the box photographically. Which keeps me on my toes! I really enjoyed my time hanging out with Flavia and Elliot, and Rainer and my assistant Zak. We all had a great shoot walking in and around Thornton Park. I am especially in love with the “Love Poems” sequence. Their wedding is going to be held on June 5th, 2010 here in Orlando. I am also extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with my gal pal coordinator,Tracy Marini from Eventfully Yours! Finally Tracy!![]()

Flavia and Elliott had told me how wonderful you are. I think even that was an understatement. You photography is so imaginative, innovative and is truly ‘art’. Knowing Fla and El as I do (I am Elliott’s mom), I can say that you captured their personalities and also their relationship.
I am so glad they ‘found’ you and that you will be doing the wedding.
In awe and appreciation,
Susan
I HAVE to comment on the rain photo. It is truly a work of art. The reflection – amazing. I don’t know how you capture these moments so beautifully – it’s got to be your natural talents! ~ Mis
