When Abbie and John asked me to photograph their engagement session in Chicago, there was no hesitation as Chi-town is one of my favorite places to visit! And definitely a break from all the humidity we experience down in Florida. So, I hopped a plane and before I knew it, we were traipsing around the city, having fun and getting some great images! A few storms came later Friday afternoon which put a small damper on things, but also made for some great night portraits! The rain died down and cool breeze blew through the air as we walked around Millenium Park and The Buckingham Fountain. It was truly beautiful. The next morning, we met up and headed to the Lincoln Park Zoo ( a must when you visit Chicago.) I had such a great time hanging out and getting some creative shots with Abbie and John! It was the perfect opportunity to get to work together before their big day. And big day it will be! Their wedding is coming up in December and it is going to be a gorgeous destination wedding in Dornoch Scotland! I cannot tell you how excited I am about the images to get there! I will be definitely posting their wedding and travels on that! Thanks Abbie and John for a great weekend and I hope you enjoy your portraits as much as I enjoyed taking them! xo Abby
